Liquor Licensing
Liquor Licensing in Kwa-Zulu -Natal is administered by a statutory body referred to as the Kwa-Zulu-Natal Liquor Authority who administrate within the confines of the Kwa-Zulu-Natal Liquor Licensing Act No.6 of 2010.
We would also be able to administer licenses in all provinces within the Republic.
- Fact: The Liquor Authority has a quota of licenses that it approves with in specific area.
The Act provides various requirements and levels of compliance to successfully obtain a Liquor License.
Such requirements are depended on the type of liquor license or service required; these include:
- Off Consumption Licenses ( Liquor may not be consumed on the premises, example a bottle store).
- On Consumption Licence (Liquor sold may only be consumed on the premises example a pub or tavern)
- Distributors Licence (Liquor may be only sold to licensed outlets)
- Wholesale Licence
- Renewal of Licenses
- Transfer of License.
- Transfer of licensed premises
We prepare and ensure that all requisite documents are attended to, in order to facilitate a successful lodgment of application at the KZN Liquor Authority or relevant provincial authority.
